Dr. Jane Janiga

Dr. Jane Janiga is a board-eligible otolaryngologist with clinical interests in thyroid and parathyroid surgery, pediatric ENT, sleep surgery, and nasal and sinus disorders. She brings a thoughtful, well-rounded perspective to patient care, shaped by her global experiences and dedication to service.

Dr. Janiga earned her undergraduate degree in International Relations from Boston University, where she also studied abroad in Europe and the Middle East. Driven by a passion for service, she joined Teach For America and taught for two years in rural Arkansas before completing her premedical training at Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania. She went on to receive a prestigious Fulbright scholarship to teach in Turkey before entering medical school.

She earned her medical degree from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine, graduating cum laude, and completed her residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago. During her training, she served as Chief Administrative Resident and spent six months in focused pediatric ENT care at Lurie Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Janiga has presented her research at national conferences and contributed to publications on pediatric surgical innovation, chronic rhinosinusitis, and facial aesthetic techniques. She was an award recipient at the UIC Resident Research Symposium and remains committed to advancing patient care through clinical innovation and evidence-based practice. She is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals and families of all ages.
